Happy 3rd Birthday to our Little Man!

Well, I guess our little man is not so little anymore! I can't believe how big he's gotten - seems like he grew overnight! Today is actually his birthday and we decided to spend the time at home and celebrate together as a family. Here's a little video and some pictures. He loves his new tricycle (which was hard to find because he's SO tall!) and his new basketball hoop from Aunt Aly, Uncle Calvin, Mason and Jack! Happy Birthday, Colvin! We love you!

Happy Early Birthday Colvin!

Today was the last day that we were covered through Early Intervention Colorado for services, so while Dayna (one of Cole's therapists) was here, we had a little party for his birthday. It was the only time he blew out the candle (yes, we sang 3 times for him). :) It was also Liz's last day, so we celebrated during his afternoon session with her and Lisa, too.

Greatest Bed Ever!

Today we got the coolest thing in the mail - we ordered a bed tent for Colvin's bed. He's transitioned to the toddler bed (FINALLY!) but will NOT stay in it no matter what we do. And since he liked the boundaries of the pack 'n play, we thought this might help. It's actually meant for a twin bed, but we thought we'd try it anyway - too big for the toddler bed and too small for the full, but we're making it work until we get a new twin bed. Colvin LOVES it!

My New Chair Is FINALLY here!!!

Ta da! From Lazy Boy! I absolutely love it! It was totally worth the wait - we've been waiting since Memorial Day weekend ... they had a few production snafus, but I don't mind because they gave us free delivery for waiting so long!
**FYI - if you are ever in the market to buy, the customer service was FANTASTIC!
Now I can't wait to get the rest of my furniture ... still waiting for that to arrive! But I'll post pictures when it comes too.

Color Me Mine with the Family

Since we had all the grandkids together in one place, we decided to go to Color Me Mine to make a handprint plate for Memaw. It was a great idea but we got a little carried away and ended up making mugs, plates and bowls - most with hand prints! The kids were troopers though, and I think we made it through the afternoon with our sanity. Check it out!

Our friends, the Browns, told us about this great park up in a little housing development that is themed "Charlotte's Web". Very Cute! Here are a couple of pics. In true Colvin fashion, as usual, he was sleeping in the car on this gorgeous day!

We have had extremely hot temps here lately, so we went outside to enjoy some water fun! The inflatable pool has died, so in the interim, we have a nemo sprinkler. I think the kids loved it!
