Olivia's New Hair 'cute'

Finally had to cut Olivia's hair - she had wanted it longer because she wanted a pony tail like the princesses, but she never wears it in one. So we decided for the ease of taking care of it, we took her to have her hair cut. I think it's a hair cute. :)

We had NO IDEA how absolutely HUGE this thing was until it came in the mail. The pictures online do NOT do it justice and until we get into the new house, it'll take up most of our space in the living room. But the kids already LOVE it!

Dehydration at its finest....

This was one of those mini-pumpkins from halloween. I had put it off to the side and forgot about it and this is what is left of it. The altitude here really kills hydration.

Did Cole lose something?

Yes, if you are wondering where his diaper is, so were we. :) Typical for his age, but we had to scour the house to make sure there were no puddles. Whew - we lucked out!

Visit to the Shelby Museum in Boulder, CO

It has been a while since we've gotten out to do any sightseeing - mainly because we are busy and it's winter (too cold to do much outside) - and someone told us about the Shelby museum in Boulder. It's about a 2+ hour drive, but this was worth the trip. It's a small little museum with private owners displaying their cars, but Gary loved seeing them (especially the Mustangs) and we got to spend some family time together. Totally recommend it to any muscle car fanatic. :)

Olivia's teacher is teaching a unit on Japan - she used to live there (yes, she's military) and taught there as well. So, this is her favorite unit. I think Olivia really likes it too because she came home today and drew this picture. She really paid attention to detail and it was too cute not to share. :)
