Mom wanted to take family pictures, so we used a photographer that Alyson knows - she's fantastic!! Of course, I'm waiting for my sister to send me a cd, but I did manage to take a few on my own camera. They aren't nearly as nice as the professional ones, but this will have to do for now....

Jungle Bells.

The San Diego Zoo always does special events for the holidays. Obviously Jungle Bells is for Christmas. Alyson had a few extra passes, so we decided to go. Mason and Olivia loved it, but as usual, Colvin was asleep in minutes. Mason particularly loved the train!

After we had our bout with the flu, we decided to get some fresh air and spent about an hour down at the beach at sunset. It was gorgeous! Take a look....

Humphrey's for Mom and Pop's 30th Anniversary.

Mom and Pop's 30th Anniversary is in February and we wanted to do something special for them. So, we went together and got them two nights at the Berry Manor Inn when Mom was back in Maine in October and then while we were all in San Diego, the entire family went to Humphrey's for brunch. Here are some pictures!

We made a trip to SD this holiday season and it was really great to all be together! We had a nice trip, with the exception of us all getting sick for 3 days with the flu! But we made it through and had a great time! Here are some pictures of opening gifts and eating a big dinner! :)

Denver Botanic Gardens at York St.

We decided to head up to the Denver Botanic Gardens at York St. last night. We thought the kids would enjoy getting outside and seeing the lights. It was really pretty and not as bitterly cold as last year. They sold Cinnamon Roasted Almonds and Hot Apple Cider - yummy! And they had these holospex glasses that made all the lights look like snowflakes - which Olivia just LOVED! Here are some pictures we took (although some are fuzzy because it's hard to get good pictures at night)!
