Our Christmas at Memaw's.

We made a trip to SD this holiday season and it was really great to all be together! We had a nice trip, with the exception of us all getting sick for 3 days with the flu! But we made it through and had a great time! Here are some pictures of opening gifts and eating a big dinner! :)

Denver Botanic Gardens at York St.

We decided to head up to the Denver Botanic Gardens at York St. last night. We thought the kids would enjoy getting outside and seeing the lights. It was really pretty and not as bitterly cold as last year. They sold Cinnamon Roasted Almonds and Hot Apple Cider - yummy! And they had these holospex glasses that made all the lights look like snowflakes - which Olivia just LOVED! Here are some pictures we took (although some are fuzzy because it's hard to get good pictures at night)!

New tv and tv stand.

We got the new t.v. stand and the feet plates didn't match up - so 3 weeks later they arrive and we FINALLY were able to put the feet on and set it all up. I really love it - it's a solid piece of furniture, I just can't believe how long it took to get it! Gary knows that this is it - no more trips to Best Buy to "look around" because I know it means "I secretly want something, but don't want to tell you"... which ends up with us spending more money. Enjoy your t.v. babe, it looks lovely with the new stand!

The Knock Outs!

I started a fitness class back in October at Farrell's Extreme Bodyshaping - it's a combination of cardio, kickboxing and resistance bands and it's a TON of fun! We start with a 10-week program and they track your progress, take before and after pictures, measurements, the whole nine yards. My class was the 9 o'clock class (while Cole was in school) and we called ourselves the Knock Outs. Personally, I liked Phat Ladies, but I don't think the crowd like the word 'fat', even if it's spelled differently with a different meaning behind it. :) Anyway, at the end of the 10 weeks, we had a party and here's our group shot. There were a couple girls missing, but this was the majority. The two men in the the picture are the owners Mark and Dave and Mark was our coach for the 9 a.m. class. I would totally recommend it to anyone!

We got this tv and are waiting for the stand (photo to come later) to be delivered. Daddy is SO excited about the t.v. I should have known that "let's go look around at Best Buy" means "I have ulterior motives to get something." :) Ha!
